Gunlock Reservoir has some great Largemouth Bass fishing, but make sure to educate yourself about the fish consumption advisory for bass on this water.

Day-Use: Self pay when no attendant on duty.
Surface: Open
Launch Ramp: August 13-31 Monday – Friday 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM Saturday – Sunday 7:00 am – 8:00 pm. Labor Day Weekend 7:00 am – 8:00 PM
Campground: Open. Self pay envelope system using cash or checks only at the entrance if attendant not on duty. Please dispose of trash. There is no water, sewer or electric in the park.
Water Temp: 65 Degrees 10/15/2018
Water Level: Water levels are dropping off fast but boat ramp is still open for now to smaller boats only. Be careful within 100 feet of shore as there may be submerged logs.
Fishing Conditions:
Fish were transferred to Gunlock from Sand Hollow in late April 2016. DWR reports fishing is fair.
Fire Conditions: Fires are allowed in designated fire rings only. NO FIREWORKS, that includes sparklers, fire crackers and fireworks. NO FIREWORKS!!
